This is the 6th year of Topps Triple Threads, and it has become a bit of an institution in the hobby. This is clearly one of the most widely appreciated sets that Topps puts out, with few people who really dislike it, and a lot of people of really love it. I don't totally love it, but I definitely do like it a lot and look forward to it each year.
This year's offering is above average in my opinion, even for Triple Threads. The new Unity relic cards and relic autos are pretty attractive. And I really like the design of the namesake triple relic cards. I didn't like the design of the base cards the first time I saw them, but even those are starting to grow on me. Add in a plethora of Cubs cards in this issue, and it's a winner in my eyes.
A breakdown of the many Cubs cards included within this issue is below. As with all issues which include a large number of lower print run cards, I will add to this as new stuff comes to my attention.

The base and Platinum versions are typical one sided triple patch cards. The Sleeve Patch is a triple card booklet with the All Star Logo patch split into three sections. The Team Patch is a dual booklet card that has the team patch from the sleeve on one side and two smaller patches on the other. The Laundry Tag version is also a dual booklet card featuring the laundry tag on one side and a pair of smaller random patches on the other. The Logoman version features the MLB logoman and two other patch pieces. The picture on the Base & Platinum versions is different than the picture on the other versions for most players. Not all players have all versions.
