Rogers Hornsby Magazine Photo Cut w/Auto - Huggins & Scott Lot #500 – $499.37

This is a great Hornsby auto on a magazine page picturing him as a member of the Cubs. Given how nice and bold the auto is, the only thing holding this back from being a truly great piece is the fact that the picture itself is not in great shape with notable creases in it like it was folded into thirds and then put in a wallet (the pic here doesn't show this that well). Still an excellent piece.
Kiki Cuyler 1929 Magazine Photo Auto - Hunt Lot #224 - $1,265.00

The price on this one is a testament to how tough of an auto Cuyler is, because the autograph itself is not the greatest with noticeable fading on his name. Still a nice piece given the good photo.

Charlie Root Autographed Baseball - Hunt Lot #262 - $345.00

Game Used Memorabilia
1938 Dizzy Dean Game Used Jersey - Lelands Lot #2 - $37,504.23

This is a really stunning jersey from a condition standpoint and the ending price reflects that. This is one of the best pre-war Cubs jerseys in existence.
1989 Jerome Walton Autographed Game Used Jersey - Huggins & Scott Lot #771 - $940.00

Nice jersey from Walton's rookie of the year season. The seller has to be happy with the price, I would have guessed $500-600.

Cards
1888 E-223 G&B Chewing Gum Silver Flint SGC 10 - Goodwin & Co. Lot #27 – 3,575.53

In all of the shows I’ve been including several Nationals and a lot of big regional shows, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a card from this set in person. This set was the first set ever to be marketed with candy or gum, a prelude to what the future would hold.

1904 Sporting Boiler Magazine Premium Chicago Cubs Team Photo - Huggins & Scott Lot #396 - $381.88

This is a great team photo from the early part of the 20th century. The picture shows Frank Chance, Joe Tinker, Three Finger Brown, Johnny Kling, and others. Seems like a pretty cheap price for what looks like a really nice piece.
1909 Cubs vs. White Sox Program - Huggins & Scott Lot #302 - $470.00

I just wrote a piece about programs a few days back (around the time this one was ending, wonder what brought the programs to mind, eh?), and I talked about how rare early 1900’s programs are. This is a nice example of a pamphlet size program that opens up into a scorecard.
